C406
Corgi 406 Mercedes-Benz Unimog 406 with Canopy. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce early issue in RED & YELLOW with ORANGE canopy. Opened for the 1st time to take these pictures. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Price: £85.00
This item is no longer for sale, price for reference only.
Notes
Issued between 1971-75, this is the early version with all those features, missing from the later issues: i.e. coiled spring suspension, wheels with rubber tyres, and jewelled headlights.
This chunky truck is in very close to mint condition with a fresh bright red and yellow finish, red interior. Graphite grey base. Intact wing mirrors with reflective pieces still in place, and a plastic, orange, detachable canopy, grey plastic tow hook.
Little factory assembly marking at headlight rims.
The box is superb – very bright, clean and intensely crisp with strong vivid colours. One set of end flaps carefully prised opened to release the model, the other end has never been opened. Intact original cellophane. Light crease on box reverse.
