Notes
The Japanese company Marusan is more well-known for tinplate models. However, (and this is a first for us!), we have a diecast model uncannily resembling the Dinky Austin Van models from this manufacturer. Indeed, we believe this is a casting from the Dinky model. Finished in bright peacock blue with complete ‘SERVICE CAR’ labels on both sides. Tinplate base. Spun wheels. Original treaded tyres run well.
Couple of negligible marks and a little of the original glue visible around the side labels. Distinctive end flap box has a little rubbing/wear at end flaps. One end still has an intact seal, so never opened. Little rubbing minor wear.
Rare to come to the market place.
