Notes
A delightful Corgi model in superb condition throughout, from a lifelong Corgi enthusiast’s private collection. Issued between 1960-63, this model has a black lower body, silver upper body, and ridged roof, smooth hubs. “Evening Standard” labels are complete on both sides. Bright baseplate. Obviously, this van has barely been handled!
Under the closest scrutiny, one can see a tiny (factory) flick of silver paint on the rear doors.
None of the usual rubbing on the ridged roof.
The card pictorial box is complete, crisp and bright with a shopkeeper’s price on one end flap.
A real gem – and not an easy variation to find.
