An impressive French Dinky car in deep red with a pale blue interior, driver in a deep blue coloured suit with a bright red tie (other versions exist), ivory coloured steering wheel, smooth white tyres on shiny concave wheels. Very bright baseplate (minute rubbing) and clear windscreen.

Mere pin prick or two away from mint.
The box is complete, brightly-coloured, intact with no tears. Crisp. ‘In the print’ speckling. Early issue in deep yellow which correctly does not have a serrated tear-off strip at an end flap (as does the later issue). No graffiti. Tiniest end flap tear.
