Notes
Issued between 1965-67, this sought-after Corgi Ford Thames Ice Cream Van is in superb, complete condition, straight from a lifelong Corgi enthusiast’s private collection. What a delight this example is – so hard to find complete with all the packing, unapplied transfers etc.
The Ford Thames Van has a shining, original blue and cream finish with detailed labels in fine condition throughout.
Suspension on shaped spun wheels. After careful scrutiny, a couple of the tiniest marks only can be seen. Chrome is absolutely fine.
Full sheet of unapplied transfers and Instruction Sheet for their application.
This Ice Cream Van has obviously never been played with.
It comes complete with the pictorial card plinth which is in virtually shop-fresh condition – no tears at wheel slots. Both original figures of the ice cream seller and boy are present.
The pictorial card box is complete and crisp, with minor handling wear only. Card packing piece is still present too.
An outstanding, complete, all original example, not easily found in this condition.
