C1102
Corgi 1102 Euclid TC-12 Tractor with Dozer Blade. Very near mint/boxed. Pale lime green issue. With both upper and lower packing pieces. From a large stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
This ‘Major Pack’ model from Corgi was issued between 1958-62. Pale lime green finish with black tracks which run easily and show no signs of wear.
This item looks as if it has spent more than 50 years years tucked away in its box. Complete transfers throughout. Dozer blade raises and lowers well.
Fine silky paint finish and bright metal parts including the base. Gives the impression of unsold, old shop stock.
Close inspection reveals a small area of discolouration near one of the hydraulic rams (probably caused by oily residue). A few minor marks besides (probably as-made).
The colourful lift-off lid box is bright. Attractive full colour picture adds to the appeal.
Minor edge rubbing and a small seam split. Box base has a little shelf grubbiness. Period dollar price is stamped. It comes with the both card packing pieces.
This box has fared better than most we have seen which have substantial wear and tear due to the weight of the item.
Although not strictly military, it is often included as part of a military collection too.
