Notes
We are thrilled to be able to offer these remarkable models for sale. Issued in extremely low numbers at the time, they were assembled and painted in Arica, a duty-free city on the Northern tip of Chile. These exceptionally rare models were discovered by a collector on a trip to South America. The castings were made in Italy and then assembled and painted in Chile.
Finished in an attractive shade of Chilean mid-blue, complete with black detachable hard top, Mid-tan detailed interior cast wheels, smooth-running original tyres. Opening bonnet and boot. Rear number plate. Bare metal screwed base.
Few minor marks only.
Colourful, crisp and complete card box. Note the all-important ?ARMADO EN ARICA? (Made in Arica) stamp on the inside surface of one large end flap and on one non-picture side of the box.
