D131
Dinky 131 Cadillac Tourer. Extremely scarce CREAM version. Very near mint/boxed. Late issue with treaded tyres and tinplate baseplate. In PLAIN box. From The Canadian Collection.
Notes
Finished in cream, this model is distinctly different from the standard salmon pink variant.
Note the even colour shade throughout, including the edge of the shiny and fresh tinplate baseplate (late issue).
Interior is standard pale grey with driver, fawn steering wheel and treaded tyres. Intact original windscreen too. None of the usual marks at exposed points front and rear, this example presents very well indeed with just a few mere dots only. Obviously, never played with, this model looks as if it has been tucked away for a very long time.
The plain red and yellow box is bright and complete, with no tears. Little handling wear. Note the intriguing ‘Washington’ stamp n the box underside, with a partial address visible including the word ‘Films’.
Shopkeeper’s price at one end flap.
