C262
Corgi 262 Lincoln Continental Executive Limousine. Very, very near mint/boxed. Scarce BLUE AND FAWN version! Complete picture strip & model specific leaflet/Corgi Club Membership Form. 2 original packing card pieces. Cream of the crop from The Somerset Collection!
Notes
Issued between 1967-69, this prestigious American car comes in the more unusual finish – pale blue with a fawn roof. Opening boot bonnet and doors. Lots of nice details on this car which even has plush deep blue carpet! In unused superb condition:
Minute examination reveals a couple of tiny marks only (you have to really peer to spot these). Underneath, the car has a battery casement so that the onboard t.v. set can be used (untested). It comes with the complete strip of little picture cards for the t.v set!
Suspension is fine on all four shaped spun wheels. As-new original tyres.
Note the shiny unrubbed plating.
The car sits on very fresh and bright card plinth. Little tear to one wheel slot.
The delicate blister style outer box is complete and intact with none of the expected tearing at the point where it joins the blister. Blister is intact too. Pull out tab at header card top still present. Lovely vibrant colours. Period price label. Only the most minor wear – the best example we have ever seen.
Complete with the Instruction Leaflet which incorporates a Corgi Club Membership Form and two pieces of card packing pieces.
An exceptional and delightful example – and one of our favourites from this collection!
