C430
Corgi 430 Ford Thunderbird Bermuda Taxi. Scarce issue with mid-blue & red canopy. Very, very near mint/boxed. An outstanding example from the cream of The Somerset Collection!
Notes
First issued during 1962, this model is in very fine, original condition, complete with intact, mid-blue and red detachable canopy, driver. Ford Thunderbird car is finished in white with a bright deep yellow interior. ‘TAXI’ and ‘BERMUDA’ transfers are notably fresh, bright and complete. Intact original screen.
Very nice indeed!
Grey base and as-new, fine tread original tyres.
Barely a mark!
The box is complete, clean and bright. Looking fresh with a crisp feel. Very minor wear (including a little end flap ruffle, little scuff at an end flap) only. Early Corgi Club Membership Form is included.
Not an easy model to find, especially complete and intact. In our experience, a more difficult find than the ‘common’ issue with the green & red canopy.
