FD25V
French Dinky 25V Ford Refuse Tipper. Excellent plus/not individually boxed. From the French Dinky section of The Reference Collection
Notes
This fine 1:65 scale refuse truck would not have been individually boxed – the Dinky shopkeeper would have had a trade box of six. Issued between 1952-55. This issue has a cross braced interior surface of the tailgate.
With a lustrous deep green finish throughout, this Dinky truck has been carefuly stored and rarely handled.
Mechanism for raising and lowering the back works well! Occasional marking to the paint finish at some raised details. Bright metal parts throughout – including baseplate and winding handle. Correct original tyres with ‘M’ embossed are well-shaped.
