Dinky 432
Dinky 432 Guy Warrior Flat Truck. Near mint plus/boxed. Window glazing version. Scarce. With packing card. Wonderful box! From a carefully hand-picked selection of models in The Netherlands.
Notes
A beautiful and original example of this version issued between 1960-64, which is becoming increasingly difficult to find. This particular example has a fresh green cab and chassis and vivid red flatbed. Later issue with window glazing. Red ridged wheels and as-new original tyres.
Looks barely handled; pleasing day-one lustre.
In close to mint, all original condition. Note a couple of pin prick marks on the roof and a tiny raised casting dot. None of the usual marks at wheel arches or indeed at the red flatbed sides. The packing card piece has caused a little residue/light marking at the rear.
A little very careful cleaning may improve further. The packing card piece should be stowed behind the cab.
The yellow picture box is certainly one of the best, probably the best in fact, that we have seen! Day-one fresh colours on crisp, intact card. Very minor shelf wear only. Resistant end flaps show that this box has been opened very rarely. No tears. No graffiti.
The best example we have seen in a long, long while.
