C249
Corgi 249 Morris Mini-Cooper 'Wickerwork'. Spun wheels. Very near mint/boxed. From an extensive private collection in the U.K.
Notes
A popular Corgi model of this much-loved little car with a smart bright red and black finish and complete distinctive ‘wickerwork’ panelling at both sides and at the rear. Sparkling jewelled headlights and suspension on spun wheels. Issued between 1965-69.
Obviously barely handled – all the delicate wickerwork panelling is intact and there are no marks at roof edge. Do note the stray dot of red near a headlight and a little more paint above the radiator.
The pictorial box looks fresh, clean and bright. Complete. Tiny start of a tear at an end flap. Shopkeeper’s faint price on a non-picture side. Corgi Club Membership Form is included.
