Notes

Scarce die-cast model made by the U.S. company Gibbs in Ohio. Made roughly to Matchbox Kingsize scale, in fact HO scale (20:149).
In all original , unused condition, it was still fastened to the card insert by means of the little elasticated ties.
Finished in vibrant orange with a tilt cab and detachable trailer. Opening rear doors. White chassis. Cast wheels and smooth, original, well-shaped tyres (with Mercury embossed).

Fragile ‘ROADWAY’ transfer lettering in deep blue has a few little pieces flaked off. Little rough casting on the cab roof.
Te card and cellophane box is complete and clean. Intact original cellophane. Card plinth has a little tear. Both ties which affix the model to its inner are still present. Little age wear to the box.
