D14A
Dinky 14A BEV Electric Truck. Scarce DEEP BLUE issue. Near mint/not individually boxed. From a beautiful, single-owner collection, some 25 years in the making.
Notes
First issued as 14A between 1948-54, before its renumbering to 400. A more difficult find in this deep blue finish. With its simple lines and familiar pale brown Dinky figure, it is equally at home in a railway or Dinky model ‘scene’.
An appealing item with a rich lustre to the finish, Bright metal parts and smooth original tyres (minor flat spot to one). Little marking mostly to the figure’s head.
This early issue would have been supplied from a shopkeeper’s trade box, so not individually boxed.
