Notes

From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.

First we have seen in this over-stamped box.
Rare transition model, in all original condition finished in mid-blue with both U.S. and U.K. crossed flags on the bonnet. Notably complete. Metal wheels issue.

A little of the usual rubbing on the raised arches. Some paint loss at the nose and tail tip.
The long slim box is a scarce find with printed over-stickers (153A) at the end flaps. So second issue. Box has a little handling grubbiness, but feels very crisp. Light crease. No tears. Period prices at an end flap. Crisp with strong colours.
