FD24Y
French Dinky 24Y Studebaker Commander. Very, very near mint/boxed. 2nd issue in two-tone green. From The Heart of England Collection.
Notes
2nd issue of this impressive French Dinky model made between 1957-58. A delicate pale green with a dark green roof and nice all original silver detailing. Plated convex hubs (with none of the usual tarnishing)) with original smooth-running white tyres. Bright baseplate with towing eye. A few tiny marks on this model which barely detract. A gleaming paint finish throughout.
The occasional tiny dot on the roof. Note the stray droplet of original paint on a front wing.
The picture box is bright, fresh and complete with scarcely any wear at all. Very crisp. Gives the impression of old shop stock.
A desirable example – both model and box.
