D919
Dinky 919 Guy Van "Golden Shred". Near mint plus/unboxed. Scarce and sought-after model from The Heart of England Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1957-58, this model is in close to mint, all original condition with a deep, lustrous red finish and intact detailed transfers on both sides (save for one tiny dot to one of the letters on one side). Bright baseplate too. Well-shaped original tyres. This iconic Dinky van has been carefully handled and stored , happily free from sunfading or delicate transfer rubbing often associated with these models.
Closest scrutiny reveals the very occasional little mark – this is an honest, untampered-with example that merits a box. A beautiful sheen makes this an exquisite display piece.
