From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.

This fine and unused Big Bedford Lorry has a mid-blue cab and chassis, with a deep yellow back and wheels. Issued between 1952-54.
Lovely lustre shows that this model has been carefully handled and stored.
In all original and honest condition, with no retouches whatever.

Shiny base and metal parts generally. The light grey radial tyres are in notably fine condition, including the spare.

Couple of little marks to the top edge of one deep yellow side. Light rub to a wheel arch detail.
The box is very clean and fresh with generally day-one vibrant colours on crisp barely handled card. Note that one short lid end has some sunfading (probably from being in a shop window for a long period of time). Shopkeeper’s model numbering too. Only the most minor age wear besides. Period shop price label at lid ends. Comes complete with the little card packing piece which fits behind the cab.

A lovely example in all original, barely touched condition from this collector.
