We have just purchased an exceptional private collection of the finest Dinky, French Dinky and Corgi models.
A classic Dinky model issued just during 1954 with a shining two-tone cerise and cream paint finish, cream hubs, bright baseplate.
Obviously unplayed-with and carefully handled, this fine model has one or two near-microscopic marks only to the paint finish; we are being extra-fussy here! None of the usual rubbing to the roof or sides ? hard to imagine a nicer example.
The pictorial card box, displaying the correct colour spot, is clean and bright with minor handling wear only, including a pencilled shopkeeper’s price of 2/9 on one side.
