D156
Dinky 156 Rover 75 Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. RARE ISSUE SHOWING CORRECT COLOUR WHEELS ON BOX. From a superb collection in The Netherlands.
Notes
An impressive example of this sought-after variation finished in gleaming cream with blue ridged wheels. A rare find indeed, especially in near mint condition. A couple of the most minor marks only. Bright baseplate (minor ‘spidering’) with large print.
Note that the tyres are the originals and have the occasioanl flat spot.
The box shows the correct model pictured on one face, including the blue ridged wheels. Fresh and deeply-coloured with a crisp feel. Correct colour spot. Little end flap tear and corner crumple. Barely any wear besides. Period shopkeeper’s price at both end flaps.
