D161
Dinky 161 Austin Somerset Saloon. Light blue issue. Very near mint/boxed. From a collection in Berlin.
Notes
Re-numbered from 40J in 1954, this Austin Somerset Saloon Dinky model has a pleasing pale blue finish with mid-blue ridged wheels and a bright baseplate.
Presents very well indeed.
Shiny base and the original tyres are well-shaped.

Fine original silver detailing at radiator, bumpers and headlights. Minor rub or two at a body line.
The box is complete and vividly-coloured, with the correct colour spot. Period price at an end flap. A little age-handling wear including a very small end flap edge tear and a few surface indentations.
