Dinky 175 Hillman Minx Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. Pale grey and mid blue issue. From a beautiful, single-owner collection, some 25 years in the making.
Notes
This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection ? always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.
Issued between 1958-61, this classic Dinky car has a pale grey lower body with a bright mid-blue roof and boot, blue ridged wheels. Fine sheen to the original paint finish.
Shiny base and original ‘M’ stamped treaded tyres look as-new. Shiny axle ends.
Just three tiny dots on the roof!
The pictorial box is complete and vividly-coloured, with the correct colour spot at the end flaps. Resistant end flaps show that this box has been opened rarely. Couple of light creases. No tears or graffiti.
Very nice!
