A scarce item indeed – this version was made between 1962-63 only.
A fine unused example which has a fresh and vibrant red and cream finish, red plastic wheels and window glazing. Such a bright radiator and headlight assembly too!
Note the gloss baseplate – more often one finds this late issue with a matte base. This is one of the earlier late issues!
Just the occasional tiny mark. Bright metal parts throughout.
The correct later issue paler yellow picture box is complete and crisp. Little wear and tear at end flaps. Correct colour spot. French writing on the base ‘Meccano pour vous’ (Meccano for you).
