Notes

A most desirable scarce Corgi set and a difficult find in any condition.
Particularly susceptible to damage is the very attractive large colourful window box with a winged header card. This export example has plenty of atmospheric artwork (and notably no sunfading!) on the complete and intact header card. This box has been carefully handled and stored, retaining its crisp, fresh appeal. No creasing or ruffling to the most attractive header card section. No graffiti. Original cellophane has a small split. Small repaired card tear. Lots of information on the box reverse.

This set comprises:
i) Corgi 267 Batmobile with both original seated figures of Batman and Robin.

This is the tow hook version (correct for this set). Intact blue screens. Suspension on ‘Bat wheels’. All functions operate well; chain cutter, rocket launcher and pulsating flame. Bright Bat logos on the wheels and complete and bright Bat logos at both sides of the Batmobile. Well-shaped original tyres with Corgi Toys embossed are well-shaped and run well. Original aerial (very minor wear).
Few small marks only to the original paint finish.

ii) Corgi 107 Batboat. Early issue with the attractive tin fin, sitting on a cast-wheeled gold trailer. A little paint loss at the tow ring. Well-shaped Corgi Toys tyres. Complete paper labels on both sides of the boat (tiny wear), complete with both figures and an unbent tin fin.

Note the small hole in the underside of the boat.
Both items sit in a yellow plastic inner – so often found with heavy tears since this form of packagaing is so prone to damage. Delighted to say that this yellow inner is perfectly intact!

Original Secret Instruction Packet has been opened carefully, revealing the full complement of accessories i. e. instructions, sprue of red missiles (a few are detached from the sprue but all are present), badge & Features Leaflet.
