From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s

A striking Gift Set issued between 1979-83. It contains:
Corgi 301 Lotus Elite in black and gold finish in superb, totally unused condition with all labels perfect and complete. Amber windows. In mint condition.
Corgi 154 Texaco Lotus in matching black and gold finish has complete labels and driver. Minor marking to the bonnet label and a little mark at either side of the label where it was banded to the bright gold trailer. Trailer has tiny wear due to contact with the racing car.

The polystyrene inner is in shop-fresh condition; very clean and bright and complete with the card packing piece still in place.
The distinctive black and gold window box is in impressive condition – so often these boxes suffer over time due to the weight of the models and the large cellophane front often gets punctured. This example is absolutely superb! Looks as if it has been opened once or twice -ever! Needless to say, the original cellophane front is smooth and intact.
