Notes
This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection ? always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.
Issued between 1956-61, this version has a distinctive cream-salmon pink finish, pale grey interior and scarce with spun wheels, treaded tyres. Complete with detailed driver, steering wheel and original intact windscreen.
Shiny base, well-shaped treaded tyres.

Uniform creamy pink shade, although the rim of the underside is a slightly deeper shade, which would suggest sunfading. However, it is most unusual to find such uniform sunfading. It has been suggested that the second coat of factory paint was a creamier shade, and of course a scarce cream shade does exist!
Few little marks only.
The correct late picture box (paler yellow) has the spun wheeled-version pictured. looks superb – strong colours on crisp card. It does lack the tuck-in part of one large end flap now.
