Notes

This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection ? always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them
.

Issued during 1966, this Land Rover has a vivid orange, original paint finish, with deep green interior, red ridged wheels, complete with driver (head is notably unchipped!) and black metal steering wheel. The matt metal windscreen is untarnished, too. Spare wheel stowed behind the driver’s seat.

Bright base. Original tyres are well-shaped and run well.

Stray factory smudge of paint at a front wing and the occasional tiny mark to the paint finish. Little casting mark head-on.
The dual-numbered pictorial box is brightly-coloured, clean and crisp. All end flaps are intact. Correct colour spot at the ends. Shopkeeper’s pencilled price at one end flap and nearby there are two small flecks of surface removal.
A delightful classic Dinky toy to add to your collection!
