D199
Dinky 199 Austin Se7en Countryman. Near mint/boxed. From a beautiful, single-owner collection, some 25 years in the making.
Notes
This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection ? painstakingly upgrading until he had the best examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.
This delightful little Dinky car has a powder blue finish with ‘wood trim’, red interior, shaped spun wheels with suspension, and a shiny baseplate. As-new knobbly tyres.
Couple of marks to the top edge, driver’s side, and another little mark besides. Little rough casting at a rear edge. Lovely silver trim and none of the expected marks at headlights or bumpers. Fine sheen shows that this model has been stored carefully.
The colourful pictorial box is complete, clean and bright, with only the most minor age wear and a little sticky area on the inside surface of one large end flap where a price label has been removed.
