From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
Never removed from its box until now, this a a fine set in unused condition comprising:
1) Corgi 438 Land Rover in bright mid-blue finish with a white detachable plastic canopy. Perfect ‘Corgi Pony Club’ labels on both sides. Whizzwheels with suspension. In mint condition.

2) Corgi 112 Rice Beaufort Horse-Box. In matching mid blue and white finish. Note that this model has cast wheels. Flock-lined drop-down rear and side doors reveal a detailed interior with partition. Perfect ‘Rice’ with horse-shoe emblem at rear door. Inside, of course, is the original plastic figure of the brown mare with card packing . The little white foal is still banded to the side. In very near mint condition (note one factory chip at the side and a couple of very small marks besides).
Both vehicles sit in a crisp clean and bright yellow card insert.
The large cellophane-fronted black ‘rainbow’ window box is crisp and clean with vivid colours throughout. Intact cellophane window. Minor storage crease. Period price label.
