C262

Notes
Issued between 1967-69, this prestigious American car comes in the more unusual finish – pale blue with a fawn roof. Opening boot bonnet and doors. Lots of nice details on this car which even has plush deep blue carpet! In unused superb condition:
Minute examination reveals a couple of tiny marks at a door handle (surely forgivable!). The merest suggestion of discolouration on the driver?s door (picked up through contact with the box inner) which may be possible to carefully clean away. Underneath, the car has a battery casement so that the onboard t.v. set can be used (untested). ! It comes with the complete strip of little picture cards for the t.v set!
Suspension is fine on all four wheels.
Note the shiny unrubbed plating.
The car sits on close to pristine card plinth. All of the push-out tabs at the wheel slots are present, too. Tiniest age wear only.
The delicate blister style outer box is complete and intact with none of the expected tearing at the point where it joins the blister. Blister is intact too. Pull out tab at header card top still present. Lovely vibrant colours. Reverse has two prices that have been scribbled out in pen and a couple of very small handling tears on the base. Little price label glue residue on the box reverse (tiny fleck of surface loss at this site). Couple of little stains on the box underside. Really minor front edge ruffling.
Complete with the Instruction Leaflet which incorporates a Corgi Club Membership Form and two pieces of dark blue and buff card packing pieces.
An exceptional and delightful example – and one of our favourites from this collection!
