Dinky 40G Morris Oxford. Near mint/not boxed. From The Heart of England Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1950-54, this fine Morris Oxford model has a gleaming, original fawn finish; a more difficult find with grey wheels.
Presents well with a fine lustre and unrubbed body lines. Unrubbed roof too!
A small area of paint loss at a window post and the occasional negligible mark besides.
Bright base (minor mottling) and the original owner has scratched the letter ‘M’ on the base. Smooth original tyres run well.
This early issue would have been supplied from a shopkeeper’s trade box.
