C246
Corgi 246 Chrysler Imperial. Deep red with pale blue interior. Includes golf clubs and card packing ring. Very near mint/boxed. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
Issued between 1965-68, this attractive American car has a deep red finish, pale blue interior, gleaming plated fittings, spring suspension on detailed cast hubs, two figures seated inside.
Opening bonnet reveals a detailed engine. Opening boot still has the little set of golf clubs inside!
In very close to mint condition, with notably untarnished plated fittings. One little mark on the driver’s door.
The picture box is crisp, bright and fresh. No tears or graffiti. Smooth as-new feel and plenty of end flap spring. Note the ’speckled in the print card (as-made). Period price label at an end flap. Original packing piece is included.
