C249
Corgi 249 Morris Mini-Cooper 'Wickerwork'. Spun wheels. Very near mint/boxed. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
A popular Corgi model of this much-loved little car with a smart bright red and black finish and complete distinctive ‘wickerwork’ panelling at both sides and at the rear. Sparkling jewelled headlights and suspension on spun wheels. Issued between 1965-69.
Obviously barely handled – all the delicate wickerwork panelling is intact and there are no marks at roof edge. Do note the stray dot of red near a headlight and a little more paint above the radiator.
The pictorial box looks fresh, clean and bright. Complete. Tiny start of a tear at an end flap. Shopkeeper’s price on a non-picture side. Corgi Club Membership Form is included.
