C1127
Corgi 1127 Simon Snorkel Fire Engine. Very, very near mint/boxed. Early issue in card box. With leaflet. Looks as-new! From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
A popular Corgi model from the Major Packs Emergency Vehicle range of toys.
The Simon Snorkel fire engine was made between 1964-74. This example has a Bedford cab, spun wheels, 6 firemen, water cannon, extending and rotating boom. Original fine tread tyres run well. This model looks as if it has been taken out of its pristine polystyrene tray for the first time to take these pictures. Exceptional!
If you really want to fault it, you can peer minutely and fine a little dot or two.
The lift-off lid card box is an early issue with lots of bright atmospheric artwork on the lid.
Barely any wear at all on the lid which has vibrant strong colours and minimal wear.
Day-one vibrant colours on crisp clean card. Small ink smudge on one edge.
Original leaflet is included. Tiny tear.
