C324
Corgi 324 Marcos 1800 G.T. with Volvo engine. Mid-blue version. Very near mint/boxed. Complete with unapplied decal sheet. Crisp fresh box too! From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
This Marcos has the most attractive, and unusual bright mid-blue colour finish with two white stripes. Opening doors. OPening bonnet reveals a detailed engine. Mounded interior (pale blue). Steering wheel & driver.
Beautiful as-new lustre, gleaming spoked wheels and day-one fresh tyres.
Issued during 1966-69, it is in superb condition – with just a couple of little marks at the front bumper and a couple of tiny dots on the roof.
Unapplied racing numbers and Corgi Club Membership Form.
The blue and yellow picture box is very bright, crisp and complete with lovely day-one bright colours. Nevertheless there is a little thumb tear to a small end flap/ Period price label
