MBMP3
Matchbox Major Pack 3 Tank Transporter & Centurion Mark III Tank. Near mint plus/boxed. Unused. From The Suffolk Collection.
Notes
Issued during 1959, this is two-piece set is in superb condition with a wonderfully silky military green finish throughout.
Ist issue, so the Centurion Tank has metal rollers. Intact grey supple tracks and a swivelling turret, straight gun. In virtually mint condition, downgraded from absolutely mint since there are a couple of very small areas of discolouration on the tracks.
The Mighty Antar Transporter has black treaded one piece-wheels and tyres. Just a couple of marks where the tank has rested on the buttresses of the transporter.
Close to perfect long slim card box has vibrant colours generally although the keen eye may note that one small area on one side has slightly faded Matchbox Series lettering.
