D482
Dinky 482 Bedford 10cwt. Van "DINKY TOYS". Mint/boxed. From The East Netherlands Collection.
Notes
Such a fine example of one of the most popular Dinky models issued between 1956-60. Perfect lettering on both sides, and a gleaming and all original paint finish:
Two very small casting marks close the Dinky lettering on one side, but it feels over-harsh to downgrade for that.
Shiny base (minor ‘spidering’) and smooth-running original tyres.
Note that this particular version has the vibrant finish in lemon and orange-yellow. Distinctly different from the other colour verison in pale creamy-yellow and deeper brownish-orange also present in this collection and pictured side by side her efor comparision:
The pictorial box is bright, clean and complete. Crisp feel. Very minor age wear only. Period price label at an end flap.
