Issued between 1935-40, this is a charming early Dinky Gift Set in all original condition.
It comprises:
1) 21A Locomotive in maroon & black, excellent
2) 3 × 21B open wagons in green & black , excellent plus
Wear commensurate with age. Safely enclosed within the sturdy cream card compartments of the box lower. This Hornby Series lift-off lid card box has the purple marble effect covering with a colourful paper label depicting the set. Rubbing and wear mostly at edges.
A charming set which has survived well, being 75 or so years old.
A scarce item in original condition.
