C474
Corgi 474 Musical Wall's Ice Cream Van. Very near mint/boxed. With WORKING CHIMES. Card stand, packing ring and wrap-around card. The latest instalment from The impeccable Collection in The Netherlands.
Notes
One of the most eagerly sought-after Corgi models, especially in this condition with fully working chimes!
The Ford Thames Van has a shining blue and cream finish with colourful awning and decorative trimmings, sliding windows and notably when you turn the handle the chimes play a tune! Bright plated fittings and complete ’Wall’s’ transfers on one side (tiniest of edge nicks on the other). The decorative labels have been correctly applied. Mere dot to the paint finish – and that’s about it!
Nice to see that this example comes complete with the crisp and bright colourful card stand, the card packing ring and the wrap-around card packing piece. Corgi Club Membership Form is included too.
The decorative card box is very crisp, clean and bright, showing minimal handling. Litle stain/minor wear in one corner.
A truly nostalgic piece!
