This De Soto Fireflite Police car was made between 1960-61 (first issue in the range from Dinky). Glossy black paint finish, white front doors, red (transparent) roof light, intact straight aerial, shaped spun wheels with suspension. Shiny black baseplate (occasional small, light scratch). Complete ‘POLICE’ labels on doors (version with white painted background) . Complete POLICE lettering bonnet and boot.
Minor bumper rubs and the occasional little mark besides. Fine thin side window scratch.
The box is really crisp, fresh and bright. mInor surface mottling. No tears or graffiti.
Not an easy find.
