D25D
Dinky 25D Petrol Tank Wagon. Green & black issue, 3rd Type. Excellent/not individually boxed. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
This type 3 version of the Petrol Tank Wagon in green and black was issued between 1946-47 and would have been sent to the shopkeeper in trade boxes, so not individually boxed.
This example presents nicely with a vivid and shining deep original paint finish and complete and unmarked ‘PETROL’ lettering on both sides. Sound original tyres run smoothly on black ridged wheels. Complete with an intact radiator and headlight assembly.
Tarnishing to the axles. Little marking to the paint finish mostly at wheel arches/running boards -but no touch-ins or repainting and the 20 mph label is still present at the rear (couple of nicks).
