Issued in 1959 and part of the impressive Tri-ang Spot-On range of models, all precisely to 1:42 scale. This model is straight from a collector who amassed the majority of his collection from toy shops during the 1960s.
This early issue is in pristine condition with a fresh two tone yellow and white finish, cream interior, black steering wheel, driver, number plates. In shop-fresh condition; this fine car just glows! This early version has the battery powered light fitting for the headlights. The box is crisp, bright and complete, with barely any wear at all. Nice and bright vivid colours, too. Inside the box, are three pieces of paperwork: the Picture Card, the promotional leaflet/Membership form and Assembly Instructions for the lighting unit.
Hard to imagine a nicer example is out there!
