An early issue of this familiar Dinky model with diecast hubs, metal steering wheel, smooth tyres and tinplate windscreen. Complete with cast driver and spare wheel. Holes in seats to add other military figures which were available separately at the time.

A little discolouration behind the drive’s seat (may be further improved with careful cleaning). This example presents well with an attractive sheen to the original paint finish.

The plain yellow picture box is bright and clean, with a crisp feel. Little puncture has pressed back into place. Couple of light creases and a minor edge scuff. Period pencilled price at an end flap.
