D159
Dinky 159 Morris Oxford Saloon. Very near mint (factory paint blemish)/boxed. Scarce in stone with light tan wheels. Very nice box! From THe Harrogate Collection.
Notes
This classic model has a distinctive stone (grey-brown) finish with light tan ridged wheels, small baseplate print, ‘Morris Oxford’ cast into the underside of the roof. Presents well with an outstanding lustre, showing minimal handling:
Note the ‘flattened’ paint area above a wheel arch – this is where the paint has come into contact with something else before drying in the factory. We have seen this occasionally.
Hard to fault otherwise.
Bright base and original tyres look as-new.
The brightly-coloured picture box is remarkably fresh and clean! Correct colour spot. No graffiti. Tiny wear only (little handling crease on the top surface).
Hard to find this good!
