FD585
French Dinky 585 Berliet Builders Lorry. Mint/boxed. Exceptional! From the personal collection of the President of "Club International des Automobiles Miniatures' in 1969.
Notes
A most attractive Dinky lorry made between 1961-64 with a most interesting history! Finished in an attractive light orange and mid-blue, with finely-poised spring suspension, grey concave wheels. This model has been carefully stored and has been barely out of its box.
One little casting mark at the petrol tank, otherwise difficult to fault.Part of the original collection purchased at the time by the President of CIAM (Club International des Automobiles Miniatures).
Later this box would be stamped:
and used in an exhibition in the ’70’s. All the models exhibited would have had this stamp on the inside of an end flap.
The box, as you might expect, is in old shop stock condition.
