Notes
A desirable two piece Gift Set in original condition issued between 1962-68. A harder to find early example, this set comprises:
1) The Land-Rover has a tinplate canopy and shaped spun wheels. Suspension. It looks very smart and fresh with a gleaming original paint finish, complete with spare wheel on the bonnet. Fresh and bright Chipperfield’s Circus labels on both side of the tinplate tilt. Fine, well-shaped original tyres.
A few small marks only.
2) The brown plastic cage has an intact opening rear door and hook on the top. Chipperfield’s Circus label at one side. Complete with the original plastic elephant! The blue and red trailer has shiny spun wheels. As-new original tyres. .Just a few tiny marks t the original paint finish.
The card plinth is bright and complete. No tears at wheel slots, but the top card section has dipped slightly due to the weight of the models pressing down on it for a prolonged period of time.
The colourfully illustrated card box is complete. Minor handling wear/grubbiness, including a very small tear at an end flap. Couple of little creases and a sticker on one non-picture side.
Comes complete with the original wrap-around card packing piece. Corgi Club Membership Form is included.
No graffiti.
