A fine Dinky Supertoy from Dinky’s heyday; surely every child from the mid 50’s-60’s remembers it well! Very difficult to find absolutely mint, this example is one of the nicest we have seen. A lovely bright yellow, all-original paint finish, a shinig all metal winding handle, and perfect “Euclid” lettering, logo, and wording on both sides. This example has none of the usual rubbing on the raised ‘ribs’ of the tipper etc., there is just a little chip on two edges at the back of the roof. Mechanism for raising and lowering the tipper works well.
The striped Supertoy box is bright, fresh and crisp complete with the inner card packing piece. (The staples are nice and bright too). There is a small puncture in the box lid, due to the winding handle but it has pressed back into place quite nicely. The Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this particular example from 1959.
