D435
Dinky 435 Bedford TK Tipper. Near mint plus/boxed. 1st issue in pale grey & blue, blue wheels.
Notes
Many colour variations of this model exist. Made between 1964-71. This 1st issue has a very pale grey cab with a mid blue roof, blue plastic wheels, deep orange back, silver chassis. Early issue made between 1964-66.
Note the very old piece of elastic band around the rear axle – no reason for it to be there and can be easily removed if wished.
Couple of little marks at a rear edge and the occasional mere dot besides. All of the plastic retaining clips of the dropside are intact. Tipping function works. Original tyres run well.
The colourful pictorial box is bright, and complete with all end flaps intact. Feels crisp. These comparatively flimsy card boxes often fare quite badly. This example is better than most we have seen. Tiny end flap tear and minor handling wear besides. Little rubbing at an end flap and a period U.S. price.
