Notes
Early issue with "PUT A TIGER In YOUR TANK " logo at rear of vehicle. In complete and original condition with a vivid blue interior, tinplate hub caps, bright jewelled headlights, both hosepipes and all six grey manhole covers intact.
Esso paper labels are bright and fresh-looking.
Roof rub/graze, otherwise hard to fault.
The attractive end flap picture box is a more unusual find and generally more desirable than the later bubble pack issues. Bright intact card, with minor handling wear only.
Interesting period detail – this model was also available to order from a catalogue at the time – and this example still bears the catalogue reference number at an end flap.
Nice to see that this example also has its* packing card piece*.
